The undefeated North Melbourne will carry the burden of history into this year’s grand final, but skipper Jasmine Garner doesn’t think it has weighed on her teammates.
The Roos can become the first AFLW side to complete a perfect season if they beat the Lions in the grand final, and they would also become the first club to win back-to-back flags.

Garner thinks her side is ready to claim one more win and finish the season without a loss.
“After a game, it does stay the same. There are things we have done well and there are always improvements and things we can do better,” Garner said.
“I think we just try to stay in the moment and not think too much ahead.
“The preliminary final was a little different; there was a few nerves going into the game because you are not there yet, but I thought the way we responded, being three goals down in a prelim is not ideal, but the way we responded, we got ourselves back in the game and I think the girls are ready for tomorrow night.”
