Manly have announced the retention of Tom Trbojevic on a new one-year deal.
Trbojevic has agreed to take a pay cut to remain at the NRL club, accepting an offer of about $900,000 to stay put until the end of 2027. It ends what has been a long and at times adversarial negotiation period. The 29-year-old fullback at one point considered his options in the English Super League.

However, the parties have come to an agreement, avoiding what would have been a public relations disaster after Manly captain Daly Cherry-Evans opted to leave at the end of the club’s 2025 campaign.
A former Dally M Medallist, “Turbo” is preparing for his 12th season with Manly, having scored 111 tries from 170 NRL games. The local junior said he’s glad to have his future finalised after recently returning from a post-season holiday.
“I’m so pleased to be staying at Manly for at least another two seasons,” Trbojevic said.
“This club is such a big part of my life and always will be. I want to be the best I can be next season, and that will be my focus over the next few months in pre-season.
“I think the future looks bright here at Manly and it’s great to have my new contract put to bed.”
Manly coach Anthony Seibold welcomed Trbojevic’s commitment.
