Kane McAuliffe has booted the first goal of his AFL career and it has come after the siren.
McAuliffe, who is in his 18th game, kicked from outside 50m and was mobbed by teammates.
The Deess were inspired by Kozzie Pickett’s burst late in the second term with his two goals in their five-straight majors.
The sad part of the Dees is that Jai Culley is off with a knee injury and from the way his teammates are consoling him, it appears that it could be an ACL injury.
