Iran says strikes hit southern areas, but US denies it carried attacks

Iranian state media reported that military headquarters were hit by strikes in Bushehr province and the port city of Konarak. The US tells Al Jazeera it did not carry out the military strikes, which came on the same day as the long-anticipated funeral of the late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
