Adam Tobin, in third place going into the final rotation, nails the horizonal bar, scoring 13.050, and has surely secured a bronze at the very least.
Canada’s William Emard has faded from medal contention after scoring 12.300 on the horizontal bar – he finishes a fraction below Whitehouse.
A score of 12.900 on the horizontal bar means Luke Whitehouse finishes with a score of 77.300.
Men’s all-around It’s time for the final rotation in the gymnastic, with Scotland’s Reuben Ward hoping to take gold.
Women’s netball Malawi lead Northern Ireland 17-7 with a couple of minutes to play in the first quarter.
Reuben Ward’s bonus has been changed on appeal, which means his overall score is now 66.950.

At the end of the fourth rotation, Scotland’s Ward leads the nastics, from Canada’s Emard, from England’s Tobin, equal on points in joint-second, 0.750 behind. Moore of Australia is fourth, a further 0.150 off the pace.
Felix Dolci, trying to move up the rankings after falling off the horse, bounds into the vault, nails a 14.200 triple somesault, and he’s eighth.
Yup yup, Ward manages 14.100 to lead Emard and Tobin by 0.750.
Righto, here comes Ward on the vault, and can he find the biggun he needs? It looks pretty good to me, a triple twist with just a little step on landing, and I reckon that’ll take him back in front.

I’m watching NZ’s Jesse Moore on the p-bars, and his 13.400 leaves him second … but we’ve a new leader, William Emard of Canada; Georgiou is down to fourth, while Tobin inserts himself into second, the two level on points.
Mario Georgiou scores 13.500 on the a-bars and now leads in the gymnastics, but he’s had four goes with the rest still on three. Oh, and Dolci, having fallen earlier, gets 14200 to move second.
At the halfway stage in the men’s all-around gymnastics final, Reuben Ward of Scotland leads with 39.150; second is Ritam Malik of Australia with 39.050; third is Elliot Vernon of Wales on 38.950; with Jesse Moore of Australia fourth on 38.900. It’s anyone’s competition.
Adam Tobin of England has a decent go on the rings – he’s a medal prospect there – and his 13.050 takes him joint-sixth. But I’m afraid the Singaporean, Jovi Loh’s competition is over: he crashes his dismount on the parallel bars, his knee looks proper crook, and he’s stretchered off. Godspeed, old mate.
Dolci scores 13.850, the most anyone has managed at anything, which moves him up to ninth – out of 18 – and if he can maintain that level, he might yet save his medal prospetcs.
Dolci, who twice fell of the pommel horse, to sit second-bottom, is now on the rings. He’s doing nicely, but will still be raging at how he compromised his medal hopes.
England have just beaten Canada 15-12 in the women’s 3v3 wheelchair basketball. That was impressive stuff.
Back with the nastics, Ward of Scotland, currently in the silver medal position, is on the rings. He enjoys a double-twisting dismount, scores 12.250, and, for now at least, leads.
Trowbridge has got a lot to say, shouting out himself then his various mates competing tonight and tomorrow. He’ll be back on Tuesday, and is clearly feeling himself.
Marios Georgiou of Cyprus is into second in the all-around gymnastics final, registering 13.150 on the floor and 12.800 on the horse. England’s Tobin is now down to fifth.
In the men’s 55kg boxing, Ellis Trowbridge of England has just given Rukmal Prasanna of Sri Lanka a going-over, a 4-0 win sending him into the last eight. He looked quick and slick, dropping hands and showboating, but the competition will get more intense from here.
Reuben Ward of Scotland records 14.100 on the horse and, after two events, he leads by 1.050 from Vernon of Wales, with Tobin of England 1.650 behind.
Eleanor Cardwell, the England GA/GS, notes that her team won the fourth quarter. They need to keep the vibes going, she says, analyse the match and work out how to improve.
Oh dear. Luke Whitehouse of England falls on the floor, his favourite apparatus, and must make do with 12.950. He’s got scope to make up the points lost, but he’s made it much harder for himself.
Our experts reckon England will be disappointed to have lost by so many, but this wasn’t the match they needed to win; they won’t face the Aussies again now unless both make the final, so have a while to find a way of beating them should that eventuate.
Australia beat England 66-48 in Pool A of the netball
Brilliant from the Diamonds, who are favourites for a reason. England gave a decent account of themselves, but were well beaten.
In the gymnastics, the highest score recorded so far is Elliot Vernon’s 13.400 on the horse – Ritam Malik of Australia managed 13.300. But now we’ve got the top-placed qualifier, Felix Dolci, on the floor … and he records 13.450, less than he anaged making it to here.
Australia are having their way with England, so quick in mid-court and leading 62-41. England are doing their best, but they can’t keep up with the movement.

We’ve just started the final quarter in the netball, with Australia now leading 56-36. They really are phenomenally good.

Australia are just so economical in the semi-circle, now leading England 52-34.This could get messy.

He sets a new Games record of 152kg in the clean, defending his title; Rishikanta Singh Chanambam of India takes silver having set a new Games record of 121kg in the snatch, with Kenya’s Joshua Amunga Mboya earning bronze.
Now Wiridulagew-Ka has a shy at 152 for he bronze … and he can’t, so Mboya of Keyna takes bronze, then Mohamad Aniq comes out again, gold medalist and trying 152, a Games record. Has he got it in him?
Mohamad Aniq goes at 149 … and it’s there! Now Chananbam tries 151 for the last time, and if he can’t get it, he can’t win. It’s on the shoulders … and no, he puts the bar down.
