Jacob Fearnley will head into the Wimbledon Championships full of confidence.
The 23-year-old was thrilled to return to the grass after an impressive 2025 campaign which has seen him accumulate enough points to enter the world’s top 60.
Fearnley will be encouraged by his run to the quarter-finals at Queen’s in what was his first appearance at the event.
Now with Wimbledon on the horizon, the British number two will be keen to have a strong campaign at the All-England Club.

Will Jacob Fearnley play doubles at Wimbledon?
Jacob Fearnley will relish the opportunity to play singles at Wimbledon and build on his second round showing on debut in 2024.
But during his Queen’s Club Championships campaign, Fearnley was asked if he would also play doubles at the All England Club.
The Brit has played just five doubles matches on the ATP Tour, and he has ruled out the possibility of playing doubles at the grass court Grand Slam.
“For sure, I won’t play again. I won’t play at Eastbourne. I won’t play at Wimbledon,” Fearnley told reporters. “Yeah, I mean, I like doubles. I’d like to make it somewhat of a priority, but obviously singles is the main priority. Yeah, it’s just about being smart.
“Obviously if I had known I was going to be put on first the day after playing a long match in 32 degrees and playing another doubles match late at night, then yeah, I probably wouldn’t have played doubles.
“It’s just difficult to predict those things sometimes. So, yeah, just about being smart about it really.”

Did Jacob Fearnley play doubles at Wimbledon in 2024?
Alongside his singles campaign, Fearnley also entered the men’s doubles competition at Wimbledon a year ago.
He played alongside fellow Brit Jack Pinnington Jones, who has yet to play a match on the ATP Tour.
Both players attended the same college in the United States, and in 2024 they decided to join forces and go for glory at Wimbledon.
They took on the pair of Rafael Matos and veteran Marcelo Melo, and the Brazilians claimed a 6-4, 7-6 victory in the opening round. Fearnley also played doubles with Johannus Monday at Wimbledon in 2023.
They won their first match against André Göransson and Ben McLachlan, before falling short against the veteran pairing of Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden.
