Big appeal from Pat Cummins! He’s smacked Roston Chase on the pads and that looks worthy of such a shout… the umpire’s not interested though and there will be no heading upstairs for a review.
That was, perhaps, sliding down leg.
NEXT BALL – HE’S GONE!
Ripping delivery from Cummins. It’s a short one that catches Chase by surprise, he can’t figure out what to do with it in time and he ends up popping it to Usman Khawaja at first slip.
He’s gone for 18. And the West Indies are now 3-58, in arrears by 167 runs. In comes Mikyle Louis.
A word from Tom Decent on that one:
Cummins seems a bit fired up after his run-out attempt wasn’t sent upstairs. Bowling beautifully and attacking the stumps.
A tough old series for Roston Chase, whose top score for the series is 44.
The West Indies’ regular opening pair are now out in the middle. Australia would love one or two more before the 20-minute break.
