Canada’s Fernandez loses to Sonmez in first round at Nottingham

NOTTINGHAM – Canada’s Leylah Fernandez was upset 6-4, 7-6 (1) by Turkey’s Zeynep Sonmez in first-round action Friday at the Nottingham Open.
