IPL 2025 Points Table After IPL Today Match Update: Mumbai Indians thrashed Rajasthan Royals by 100 runs to send them crashing out of the IPL playoffs race while the Hardik Pandya-led side went right on top of the points table with their 6th win on the trot. Rajasthan, meanwhile, stayed rooted in the 8th position.
Riding on half centuries from Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton as well as impressive knocks from Suryakumar Yadav (48) and Pandya (48), Mumbai posted a huge total of 217. Chasing, Rajasthan kept losing wickets at regular intervals with 5 batters already in the hut by the time powerplay ended.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi was out for a duck before Yashasvi Jaiswal, Nitish Rana, Riyan Parag and Dhruv Jurel all failed to fire. Jofra Archer top scored for the Royals with 30 while Trent Boult and karn Sharma took 3 wckets apiece as MI bundled out their opposition for just 117.

On Wednesday, Chennai Super Kings were eliminated from the IPL 2025 Playoffs race after the MS Dhoni-led five-time champions were eliminated by the Punjab Kings. The Chennai franchise lost their fifth straight match at the Chepauk, previously a fortress for them.
