Shapovalov, Diallo advance at Madrid Open; Dabrowski and Routliffe upset at doubles

MADRID – Denis Shapovalov of Richmond Hill, Ont., and Montreal’s Gabriel Diallo both advanced to the men’s single Round of 32 at the Madrid Open on Saturday.
