US Open champion Andy Roddick has released the latest episode of his popular podcast, reviewing the last week of action.
Roddick, speaking on his popular podcast ‘Served with Andy Roddick,’ reflected on Carlos Alcaraz’s Queen’s Club victory, Marketa Vondrousova’s triumph in Berlin and McCartney Kessler’s Nottingham Open statement.
Roddick, who recently weighed in on Jannik Sinner’s Wimbledon chances, rarely shies away from making bold statements concerning the world of tennis.
During his latest podcast episode, Roddick said one player will have their peers worried ahead of the Wimbledon draw.

Andy Roddick says no one wants to play Alexander Bublik at Wimbledon
Following Alexander Bublik’s barnstorming run at the Halle Open, Andy Roddick has claimed ‘no one wants to play’ the Kazakh superstar at Wimbledon.
Speaking on his podcast, Roddick said: “You know who’s happy that Bublik won this week in Halle? Every top player that doesn’t have the potential of playing him in the first two rounds of Wimbledon now.
“I’m sorry, if I’m seeded at four at Wimbledon and this guy who you could make the case right now, I’m not saying all time, right now, he’s one of the top 10 players on grass, like right now.
“He’s got it, he knows how to play, it makes sense to him.”
Bublik, who was unseeded at the Halle Open, beat four top 10 seeds to triumph in Germany. These included Jannik Sinner, Tomas Machac, Karen Khachanov and Daniil Medvedev.
His performance at the tournament was so good that some fans have labelled Bublik a Wimbledon contender.
Roddick continued: “If I’m (seeded) four, I don’t wanna see him. I’m happy that he’s somewhere else and we’re at least protected.
“No one’s going to want to play him in the third round, I’ll tell you that much right now.”
Alexander Bublik secures Wimbledon seed after Halle Open victory
Bublik’s victory at the Halle Open, which saw him move up 15 places to 30 in the world, has secured him the number 28 seed at Wimbledon.
The Kazakh, who recently celebrated his 28th birthday, is in excellent form heading into Wimbledon. Before Halle, Bublik made the quarter-finals at the French Open, beating Jack Draper along the way.

Bublik, who made the third round at last year’s tournament, will know his first-round opponent when the Wimbledon draws are released on June 27.
