Carlos Alcaraz is back in the Wimbledon semi-finals for a third consecutive year, after dismantling British hope Cameron Norrie.
Alcaraz, who is searching for his third straight title, made light work of the Brit, winning 6-2 6-3 6-3.
The Spaniard, 22, now faces Taylor Fritz, who is bidding to become the first male American player to win the singles at Wimbledon for 25 years.
Despite Fritz’s motivations, he has lost both previous meetings against Alcaraz, at the Miami Open in 2023 and the Laver Cup in 2024.
Tim Henman, former British number one, weighed in on Alcaraz’s on-court play, and he explained why the Spaniard is ‘amazing.’

Tim Henman says it is ‘amazing’ to see Alcaraz so complete at just 22 years old
Speaking on the BBC on Tuesday evening, Henman noted Alcaraz’s young age while exploring the strengths of his game.
Henman said: “We have seen him hit forehands at 110mph and serves at over 135mph but then when you ask him to hit the touch shots it’s like an artist. It’s almost like he is showing off all his shots.
“That is why he is so difficult to play against. He is one of a few players who when plan A is not working, he can go to plan B.
“He can use the serve and volley and break the rhythm but asking his opponent to come forward.

“A few of us have said around the game that it is amazing to see someone so complete at such a young age.
“It normally takes these players a little bit longer to add those extra strings to their bow but Alcaraz has been doing it for many years and he’s only 22 years of age.”
Henman’s take on the matter warrants little room for correction. Alcaraz’s rise has been simply phenomenal, winning five Grand Slams and 21 ATP Tour titles in total.
He will look to add to that total at Wimbledon this year. If he does win Wimbledon again, Alcaraz will match Boris Becker’s total of three men’s singles titles.
Carlos Alcaraz has already qualified for the 2025 ATP Tour finals
Despite it only being July, Alcaraz has already qualified for the ATP Tour Finals, which take place in November.
The tournament, which will be held at Turin’s Inalpi Arena, was won by world number one Jannik Sinner, who beat Taylor Fritz 6-4 6-4 in the final.
Players qualify for the tournament by accumulating as many ATP points as they can throughout the year, with the top eight entering the tournament.
Alcaraz’s French Open victory, combined with his Queen’s Club triumph and deep run at Wimbledon, will have certainly helped him qualify this early for the November tournament.
