That lead didn’t last too long for the Saints.
Their skipper, Toby Greene, has just put them back in the front with a fantastic set shot right on the 50-metre arc, not far from the boundary on the outer side of Engie Stadium. The crowd comes alive. The Giants now lead by five points.
But hold on. As I typed all of that, the Saints have created an opportunity of their own through Cooper Sharman – basically from the same spot as Greene, just on the other side, and a little bit closer.
