Curtis Jones’s future has been the subject of much gossipmongering this summer, especially with Inter plonking him in the middle of their radar. The Italians have sniffed around the midfielder for quite a while and may ramp up their interest very soon with a bid of £30m to test Liverpool’s resolve.
Ipswich are not willing to stop their summer spending and a return for Julio Enciso looks nailed on. The Paraguay international had an injury-plagued loan spell at Portman Road in 2025 but is back to lead their battle for Premier League survival after a permanent deal was agreed with Strasbourg. After completing a deal for Lucas Herrington, Hull will bring in Joe Gelhardt from Leeds. The forward spent time on loan with the Tigers, helping them get promoted to the Premier League. Another inquiry has been made to Juventus over the availability of Teun Koopmeiners.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka may not fancy a season in the second tier with West Ham. Thankfully for the DR Congo full-back Aston Villa and Fulham are both in for him at the moment, but Villa Park is the more likely destination. On the other side of the Hammers defence is El Hadji Malick Diouf. Sunderland have put a figure on him with a £40m bid but that is not enough for him to be allowed to head up to the Stadium of Light because his employers want £10m more.
Kyle Walker was a target for David Moyes a year ago and the Scot could offer him a route out of Burnley to Everton. The former England right-back has a year remaining on his contract but may fancy a season on Merseyside.

Michail Antonio could make a return to England with Watford. The former West Ham striker has been training with the Championship club in recent times after a spell in Qatar with Al-Sailiya. The 36-year-old is available for nothing and could prove a cunning signing for the Hornets. Elsewhere, Bolton are exploring a deal for the Millwall midfielder Luke Cundle.
