Nick Kyrgios has now made a bold prediction about Jack Draper’s future, and who might help him realise his potential.
Already 2025 has been an outstanding year for the 23-year-old, building on reaching the semi-finals of the US Open at the back-end of last year by winning his maiden Masters 1000 event in Indian Wells.
Given that the early stages of his career consisted of regular injuries and fitness concerns, he has meticulously built a body that is now robust and ready to deal with the physical demands of the tennis tour.
Now, he never looks like breaking down, and has a rock-solid play style to back that up.
With that in mind, Nick Kyrgios is expecting big things from him, especially with a legend like Andy Murray to lean on.
Nick Kyrgios makes prediction about Jack Draper’s career
Speaking on talkSPORT, just after Kyrgios provided an update on his injury, the enigmatic Australian then turned his attention to British hopes at the upcoming Wimbledon.
After all, Jim White and Simon Jordan were keen to know whether he rated Jack Draper, who is admittedly the main source of hope when it comes to potentially snagging the coveted crown.
Kyrgios was effusive in his praise for the big-serving Brit, stating: ‘Draper’s an amazing player, great athlete, big lefty, and I think he’s got more than enough game to win a Grand Slam, that’s for sure.
‘You know, he’s super, super dialled in now, super professional. And I think Andy Murray’s going to play a big part in helping him get over the line.
‘And I think, yeah, I think Draper could definitely be winning Grand Slam soon.’
Jack Draper’s chances of winning Wimbledon
Whilst Emma Raducanu, Katie Boulter and Jacob Fearnley will all back themselves, few would argue against Draper being Britain’s outstanding option to truly compete.
After all, he is the number four seed, and heads to Wimbledon as one of the most in-form players on the ATP tour.
That being said, since Draper’s Wimbledon draw emerged yesterday morning, enthusiasm has waned somewhat.
After all, a potential third-round match-up with Alexander Bublik does not inspire optimism.
Similarly, having to likely go through Novak Djokovic, Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz to win the title in the quarters, semis and final respectively, is hardly encouraging either.

Alas, you have to beat the best to be the best, and Draper will know this.
Having troubled all three of those superstars in the past, there’s no reason why now, in front of his home crowd, he cannot do the unthinkable at the All-England Club this year.
