Arsenal star Bukayo Saka’s favourite boots have had a major update in time for the club’s title run in and the 2026 World Cup.
Saka is usually spotted in a pair of New Balance Furon Elite FG, a boot designed for speedy wingers who need support for quick changes of direction.
The Arsenal and England attacker even has his own unique version of the boot named the ‘7egacy’ Furon Elite with a pattern designed by Saka himself alongside the New Balance design team, as well as his number seven on the heel.
Those boots only launched in December and will be used by Saka for the rest of the Premier League season that could see him lift the title for the first time in his career.
New Balance has launched a stunning colour to join Saka’s very own design. The new ‘whiteout’ boots strip every bit of colour from the design for a slick minimalist effect. The completely white boots are the first time Saka’s favourite brand has introduced the Furon colour option and it is on sale now for £200.
Not content with one white boot, New Balance has also launched a white and gold version of another one of its offerings with a stunning new First Edition.
The New Balance 442 First Edition
The white and gold 442 Elite Knit FG V3 First Edition is on sale now and is designed for harder surfaces, which make it perfect for hard summer pitches. The boot, says New Balance, uses a pearlized sea salt finish complemented with gold metallic colour scheme to stand out from the predominantly black and yellow 442 range.
The 442 Elite Knit FG V3 First Edition is a nod to classic boots of the past with a traditional stud pattern attached to an ultra-modern lightweight nylon sole plate.
Priced at £180 in the UK, the boots are designed to be a professional-level pair that can be worn by semi-pro and amateur players who want a higher quality boot as worn by the professionals.
The boots will not be worn by Saka himself but there will be several world football stars who could wear the new First Edition New Balance cleats.
Saka is not the only player to choose New Balance boots. Arsenal team mate Eberechi Eze also wears Furon boots, while USA international Timothy Weah and Raheem Sterling have worn the boots due to their design favouring quick players.
Former Liverpool star Sadio Mane also chose Furon boots as he led the Reds to a Premier League and Champions League title.
