IPL 2025 Points Table After IPL Today Match Update: Chennai Super Kings failed to play spoiler to Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s march to the semifinals when they were defeated by the Rajat Patidar-led team by 2 runs. CSK were cruising towards a victory after Ayush Mhatre’s blistering 94 and Ravindra Jadeja’s half century before they were pegged back when Lungi Ndidi snapped up the 17-year-old and Dewald Brevis in back to back balls. RCB did not let up as Jadeja and MS Dhoni failed to drag CSK over the line.
Thus, RCB went to the top of the table with 16 points while CSK stayed put in the last position. Earlier, Virat Kohli slammed 62 while Jacob Bethell scored an important half century before Romario Shepherd scored the joint second-fastest half century in 14 balls in IPL history helping his team reach 214 runs.

On Friday, Gujarat Titans went back to winning ways when they defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 38 runs to go to 2nd in the IPL points table. Meanwhile, SRH stayed rooted to the 9th spot as their playoffs dreams grew dimmer. Abhishek Sharma scored a blistering 74 but it wasn’t enough to help his team overhaul GT’s target as SRH lost wickets at regular intervals.
