IPL 2025 Points Table After IPL Today Match Update: The Indian Premier League (IPL) restart was delayed further as the Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Kolkata Knight Riders match was abandoned after incessant rain at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. With each teams sharing a point apiece, Kolkata were eliminated from the playoffs race as hosts RCB moved up to the first position with 17 points in the table.
The last time the league was in session, the Punjab Kings were taking on the Delhi Capitals in Dharamsala in a match that was abandoned due to security reasons due to India Pakistan tensions. The league was suspended the next day i.e. May 9 for a week as a lot of overseas players returned back home.

As the India Pakistan tensions eased and both countries reached a ceasefire agreement, the BCCI decided to restart the IPL in 6 venues. The RCB vs KKR match was supposed to signal the new start but rain spoiled the party.
