Sacked from Indian team, Abhishek Nayar returns to KKR

Abhishek Nayar, recently removed as the Indian cricket team’s assistant coach following scrutiny over the batting group’s performance, is set to join the Kolkata Knight Riders’ support staff. Nayar previously worked with KKR, focusing on player development in their academy. His role in the national team was reportedly questioned after the Australia tour, leading to the BCCI’s unusual step of terminating his contract, which was a selection of the head coach.
