Bucs-Lions (7 p.m. ET) has major shootout potential given the high-powered offenses led by MVP candidate Baker Mayfield and Jared Goff. Both teams boast several of the league’s top players. Mayfield’s weaponry is in for nice upgrade for this one with the return of Mike Evans after a three-game absence, and star rookie Emeka Egbuka slated to play one week after suffering a hamstring strain.
In Game 2 (10 p.m. ET), Houston and Seattle’s hard-nosed defenses could come up big, but neither C.J. Stroud nor Sam Darnold‘s offenses lack the talent that could also make this a high-scoring contest.
