On the podcast today; the first of our World Cup previews. Four groups per podcast in alphabetical order.

Starting with Group A hosts featuring Mexico alongside South Africa, South Korea and Czechia. It’s probably Son Heung-min’s final tournament and Mexico could well host England in the Round of 16 so it’s worth playing close attention to them.

In Group B, Canada line up against Switzerland, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Qatar. No Xherdan Shaqiri for Switzerland but a 40 year old Edin Dzeko will be lining up for Bosnia and Herzegovnia which is something we can all look forward to.

Over in Group C, Scotland are competing in their first tournament since 1998 find themselves facing Haiti, Morocco and Brazil.

And then finally to Group D the USA, Australia, Paraguay and perennial dark horses Turkey.
