On today’s podcast: it’s a Football League special after a bank holiday of the hottest football matches since John Aldridge at USA ‘94. A lot of cramp and sweat and in the end it’s Hull City, Bolton Wanderers and Notts County who are promoted.

In spygate terms it’s probably good that Hull were promoted. Oli McBurnie won it at the death. They stayed in the Championship last year on goal difference, and now they’re in the Premier League. The panel ask: are they ready?

It was a tight game between Bolton and Stockport but the Trotters ultimately ran away with it. And after another loss at Wembley, this time to Notts County, are Salford City destined to stay in League Two forever?

Plus, a little more on the England squad and your questions answered.
